Mayor Durkan has extended the City’s residential and small-business/nonprofit eviction moratoriums through January 15, 2022.  When the moratorium sunsets, the 6-month grace period provided in Ordinance 126075 for residential tenants suffering a hardship due to COVID-19 will still apply, as will the City’s moratorium on winter evictions, thereby effectively prohibiting evictions for many residential tenants through July 2022.
