HCMP Names Two New Principals in Public Finance and Business
“Brandon and Matt bring a high level of experience and insight to our public finance, corporate, real estate and tax practices,” said Laurie Lootens Chyz, HCMP’s managing principal. “They represent the future of these practices, and our clients are well served by their counsel.”
Brandon’s practice focuses on public finance and municipal securities law. Brandon advises issuers, underwriters and banks on compliance with SEC securities laws and MSRB rulemakings affecting the municipal securities market.
He is active in National Association of Bond Lawyers (NABL), serving as Vice Chair of the Disclosure Law & Securities committee. Brandon received his J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, magna cum laude and B.A. from the University of Utah, magna cum laude.
Matt’s practice includes a variety of aspects of corporate and commercial law, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, commercial lending and business planning. He has experience with a wide range of transactions involving the technology, industrial and real estate sectors. Prior to joining HCMP, Matt worked in the corporate group of an international law firm in New York City.
