In June 2017, our client MultiCare Health System, acquired two hospitals and an extensive network of clinics in and around Spokane, Washington. The transaction made MultiCare the largest community-based, locally governed healthcare system in the state of Washington. HCMP advised MultiCare on all real property aspects of this transaction ‑ starting with early negotiations of the purchase agreement, through extensive due diligence efforts, and finally culminating with the closing of the $425 million purchase.
