Professional Overview
Taylor is a member of HCMP's Land Use practice team, advising developers and property owners on the regulatory and real estate issues that shape development projects throughout Washington. She works alongside clients from initial site evaluation and feasibility through permitting, entitlements, and final approvals, helping project teams navigate complex land use requirements efficiently.
Her practice includes supporting permitting strategies, analyzing regulatory pathways, and assisting clients when approvals are challenged through administrative appeals or other land use disputes. Taylor represents commercial real estate clients in connection with property purchases, sales, and leasing, and continues to give her practical insight into how development approvals intersect with transactional objectives.
Taylor approaches land use matters with a practical, detail‑driven mindset informed by her background in infrastructure and public-sector work. While in law school, she worked with the Fred T. Korematsu Center for Law and Equality and served as a law clerk in the Washington State Office of the Attorney General’s Natural Resources Division. Prior to practicing law, she worked as a consultant on transportation and wastewater infrastructure projects in the Seattle area, including participation on a large Washington State Department of Transportation project—experience that continues to inform her collaborative and project‑focused approach.
