Will Singer Joins HCMP Lender Services & Finance Group

Hillis Clark Martin & Peterson (HCMP) welcomes Will Singer as an associate in the firm’s Lender Services & Finance group. Will’s practice focuses on public finance, securities and municipal law, with projects including general obligation and revenue bonds offered by a variety of governmental entities.  Prior to joining HCMP, Will served as law clerk to Judge Lisa R. Worswick of the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division Two.  Before attending law school, he spent six years working in local government and politics in the District of Columbia, most recently as budget director to then-Mayor Adrian Fenty and City Administrator Dan Tangherlini.

Will received a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law and a B.A. in Politics from Oberlin College. At Northwestern, he served as Editor in Chief of the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology, and was recognized for his work with the Bienen Prize for Outstanding Student. He also received Northwestern’s Class of 2012 Leadership Award.

Will’s community involvement includes serving as a criminal law instructor for the Northwestern Center for Talent Development in Evanston, IL, and locally, he volunteers for the St. Therese Parish men’s homeless shelter.
