Hillis Clark Martin & Peterson Formally Launches Lender Services & Finance Practice

December 09, 2014  By HCMP Law Offices

HCMP has announced the formal launch of a fourth practice focus – Lender Services & Finance.

While representing a number of national and regional financial institutions for many years, the addition of prominent public finance lawyers to the firm in 2013 prompted the formal launch of a full-service practice group that caters to both commercial and public clients and their finance needs.

Gary Fallon, the firm’s managing partner said, “The addition of well-regarded public finance lawyers from Gottlieb Fisher last year has enabled us to add a unique component to our legal counsel and enhance our finance-related legal services.” Added Dan Gottlieb, chair of the newly-formed group, “We have found that our differing, yet interrelated viewpoints provide us with broader perspectives and creative insights when working through the issues our clients face – whether it be a bank, municipality or non-profit organization.”

HCMP’s Lender Services & Finance practice provides documentation, negotiation and closing services for finance transactions and loan syndications of all types; general obligation, revenue and special assessment bond counsel services for state, local and tribal governments; nonrecourse revenue bond counsel services for health care, schools and other 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations; “63-20” bond counsel services for public-private infrastructure projects; workout and bankruptcy services; and lender liability and litigation services.
