Professional Overview

Eve regularly represents regional and local institutional lenders in commercial financing transactions. Her work includes negotiating and drafting loan documents for real-estate secured and asset-secured loans, modifying existing loan documents  and reviewing title work. Eve also collaborates closely with title companies to facilitate smooth closings and efficient loan disbursements.

Before joining HCMP, Eve previously served as of counsel for a mid-sized firm in northern Virginia and as an associate at a boutique law firm focused on commercial lending in northern Virginia.

Prior to private practice, Eve served as associate general counsel for a commercial real estate owner-operator in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. In that role, she focused on commercial leasing, negotiations, regulatory compliance, relocations, and community outreach initiatives.

Representative Experience

  • Drafted loan documentation and assisted in the coordination of closing on behalf of the lender relative to an approximately $10,000,000.00 acquisition, development and construction loan and letter of credit facility for a multi-unit residential townhome project.
  • Drafted loan documentation for the restructure and consolidation of an approximately $7,000,000.00 acquisition, construction and “mini-perm” loan.
  • Drafted loan documentation for the lender and assisted in the closing on a $10,000,000 asset-based loan to a local business for its working capital needs.
  • Represented a local non-profit organization in lease negotiations for over 6,000 sq. ft. of retail space to be used to provide therapeutic services to the community.
