Use & Real Estate Services
- King County Property Research: If you want to look
up information about a specific piece of property in King County,
go to http://www.metrokc.gov/ddes/property.htm.
If you want to search and retrieve the index to King County documents
or the documents themselves, go to http://www.metrokc.gov/recelec/records/.
These documents include land records, marriage documents, surveys,
excise tax affidavits, and general documents filed with the King County
Recorder's Office.
- Pierce County Property Research: If you want to
look up information about a specific piece of property in Pierce County,
go to http://www.co.pierce.wa.us/pc/abtus/ourorg/at/at.htm.
You can search by owner name, parcel number, section/township/range
to determine the chain of ownership for properties in Pierce County.

- Vital Records:
This site will direct you to the appropriate agency to obtain birth
and death records.
- Washington State Department
of Revenue: Useful tips and downloadable
forms for business owners. Also includes a link to the Unclaimed Property
section. Find out if there is money owing to you or your business!
- IRS
Forms: Access to downloadable IRS forms with instructions.
- Oregon Online:
Links to many helpful departments and agencies in the State of Oregon.
- Washington Secretary
of State Corporation Search: Searchable database of corporations,
limited liability companies, limited partnerships, and other entities
which register with the Secretary of State. Useful for finding the
registered agent of an existing business and for checking name availability.
Litigation
Services
- Federal Courts:
Information for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of
Washington.
- Washington State Courts:
Information on court forms, opinions, what prospective jurors can
expect, and other items.
- King
County Small Claims: For recovery of money only, for
an amount up to $2,500, Small Claims court is available. Such matters
are often handled by individuals who are not attorneys.
