handled the defense of numerous preference actions in various bankruptcy
cases.
• Provide
ongoing advice and representation in connection with creditor's rights
matters to clients such as HomeStreet Bank, Washington Federal Savings,
Heller Financial Inc., General Electric Capital Corporation, Merrill Lynch
Business Financial Services, Citigroup, CNL Commercial Finance; and Zions
First National Bank.
• Provide
pre-bankruptcy planning and advice to vendors transacting business with
distressed companies.
• Documentation
and closing of construction and subordinate loans for Weyerhaeuser Realty
Investors, Inc., a leading construction lender, and preparation and negotiation
of appropriate loan agreements, deeds of trust, inter-creditor subordination
agreements, and related documents.
• Negotiating
and documenting loan transactions with Sovereign Indian Nations.
• Admitted
to practice before the Washington State Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit
Court of Appeals, the United States District Courts for the Western and
Eastern Districts of Washington, and the United States Bankruptcy Courts
for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington.
