Ten of our attorneys were recognized as "Washington Super Lawyers," in Washington Law & Politics, June 2007, selected by their peers. T. Ryan Durkan, Jerome L. Hillis, Howard F. Jensen, George A. Kresovich, Melody B. McCutcheon, Richard M. Peterson and Richard R. Wilson were included under the Land Use/Environmental category. David E. Myre, Jr. was included in the Business/Corporate category. Michael R. Schumacher was included in the Real Estate/Banking category. Louis D. Peterson was included in the Business Litigation category.

In a recent survey by Corporate Counsel magazine, the General Counsels of Fortune 500 companies were asked to name the law firms they turn to for assistance in a variety of practice areas. Weyerhaeuser has named HCMP as its Go-To Law Firm® in the areas of Corporate Transactions and Litigation. Less than one-half of one percent of all law firms in the U.S. and abroad are recognized for this honor. The May 2007 issue of Fortune will include the "go-to" listings.

Three of our attorneys were recognized as "Rising Stars" in Washington Law & Politics, December 2006-January 2007. Stephen H. Roos was included in the Environmental category; Brian C. Free was included under the Business Litigation category; and Gabriel S. Rosenthal was included in the Real Estate category.

We are very proud that the HCMP web site was selected as one of the finalists in the small firm category of the 7th Annual Best Law Office Web Site Contest (2005) conducted by Law Office Computing, a national legal technology publication.
