Fifteen attorneys from Hillis Clark Martin & Peterson P.S. (HCMP) have been recognized for provision of outstanding legal services in 2016 by Washington Super Lawyers®. Super Lawyers® is a rating service of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selection process is multi-phased and includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. Rising Stars recognizes the top 2.5% of younger attorneys in the state who are under 40 years old and/or have practiced for fewer than 10 years.

In addition to being named to the Super Lawyers® list, Lou Peterson earned the highest distinction by being listed yet again in the Top 10, and well as in the Top 100; Mike Scott was also listed in the Top 100; and Ryan Durkan, Irene Fisher, and Melody McCutcheon were named to the Top Women Attorneys in Washington list. Katie Chapman, newly named a Rising Star, was also named to the Top Women Attorneys in Washington Rising Stars list.
