HCMP is pleased to welcome two summer associates - Angelica Maria Gonzalez and Thaddaeus James Gregory - to the firm as part of its 2017 1L Diversity Student Fellowship program. Angelica is studying law at Seattle University School of Law, and has her B.A. in Politics and Values from the University of Washington. Thaddaeus is studying law at the University of Michigan Law School, and received his B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology from Carleton College. 

Typically, HCMP grants one Diversity Student Fellowship annually to a deserving first-year law student who contributes to the diversity of their law school, and will contribute to the diversity of the legal profession. The HCMP Diversity Student Fellowship is a salaried summer associate position that includes a scholarship to be applied toward tuition and expenses during the student’s second academic year. For 2017, however, we received so many amazing applications that we decided to grant two Fellowships.

Over the course of the summer, they will have the opportunity to work with attorneys in all four of HCMP’s major practice groups—Litigation, Real Estate & Land Use, Business, and Lender Services & Finance. We’re excited to have Angelica and Thaddaeus joining us this summer!
