Steve Rovig, a highly-regarded Seattle real estate transactional attorney, was inducted by the King County Bar Association (KCBA) as its 2014-2015 President at last night’s annual KCBA Awards ceremony. Steve is a long-time member of the KCBA, first joining in 1984, and his leadership includes terms as Second Vice President and First Vice President (2012-2014) and Treasurer (2009-2011), a term as King County Bar Foundation President (2001-2002), and service on numerous committees and task forces, including as chair of the Finance Committee, Community Legal Services Committee, and the Future of the Law Institute Task Force.

At HCMP Steve handles a broad range of real estate transactions, representing clients of all sizes from small businesses to very large corporations. He advises clients on purchase negotiations and sale agreements, construction and permanent financing, development and management agreements, leases and operational documents. As the Puget Sound region has become increasingly urbanized, the drafting of community governance documents for condominiums and master planned communities has become an area of emphasis in his practice.
