Hillis Clark Martin & Peterson P.S. has announced that attorney Katie S. Chapman has been promoted to Principal of the firm. 

Katie's practice focuses on lender services and real estate transactions, including loan documentation and negotiation; loan modifications and workouts; the acquisition, leasing, and development of real property; preparation of condominium documents; and the establishment of condominium and homeowners associations. She represents various local, regional, and national financial institutions to close complex commercial loans and works with buyers and sellers of residential and commercial real estate, including condominium law.

Katie received her J.D. with honors from the University of Washington School of Law, and B.A., summa cum laude from Colgate University. She is currently participating in Ladder Down, a year-long program dedicated to leadership, business development, and mentoring – each of which is critical for women lawyers to better position themselves for success.
