HCMP - Lender Services - Work Smart Seminars

One of the most satisfying programs that we offer our lender clients---and one that is much appreciated---is the free training that we provide in the form of our Lender's WorkSmart Seminars™.

Typically, we host casual breakfast or lunch seminars for your employees in our main conference room on topics that you and we have mutually selected. Attendance often ranges from 15 to 30 persons. We have also been invited to present certain topics at our clients' management meetings and retreats. We select topics geared to your particular kind of lending. We have covered over 30 different topics with our different lender clients, and are happy to add to that list or customize the topics for you. Most often, our sessions include an explanation about the law of lending or smart lending practices in simple non-legal terms. We field all kinds of questions, and attempt to use real life examples from your loan portfolio, when we have shared that experience with you.

We can gear these sessions to any audience - members of your loan underwriting committee, loan or relationship managers, document preparers and closers, loan administration and servicing, or foreclosures and special credits. Our sessions are also intended for two-way communication, so that we can also learn more about your business and work smarter for you. We even repeat or recycle topics after a few years, so that newly-hired employees will get the benefit of basic training in the fundamentals of lending.

So much legal consultation about loans relates to simple issues that you can begin to analyze and handle on your own, with the proper training. We are a different kind of lawyer and we enjoy providing this no-charge service to our regular lender clients.
